Rob for Model Number Kenmore cold spot 106.511133213 Not really a question. Just to let anyone else know that my ice maker stopped working. Only 1 year 9 months old. It was not dumping ice. It got water to the tray. I pulled it out inspected it and could not get the arm to come down, or the little motor to turn. Reinstalled it and it made one batch then started over filling the water and it started running out the dispenser onto the floor. Got this new ice maker part # AP6026347 installed it, took less than 10 mins to install. 24-26 hours later I had a full bin of ice. My only concern is it seems to have gone past the full capacity line on the ice bin. Hopefully its smart enough to know to stop until capacity drops. I did not want to use any ice until I new it was working as normal. Thanks. R
Answer Rob, It would be recommended if the bin is filling too much to make sure that you have gotten the bail arm installed properly on the back of the icemaker head. if not then it will cause the unit to not think it is full. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, June 19, 2018
