Ron for Model Number KRSC503ESS00 Installed new Ice maker still no Ice. Is there a Code for installation of new ice maker needed. Water dispenser works and water filter is good. part number W10873791.
Answer Ron, You will want to make sure that you give the unit 24 hours to make the first batch of ice. If there is still no ice being made then check to make sure that the emitter board has the light on and it will be flashing when the bin is removed. Once the flapper is closed the light should be solid. If this checks ok then you will need to check to see if there is power getting to the water valve when the icemaker calls for water. If it is then the valve will be the issue. The ice maker and dispenser valves are independent of each other so one could work where the other will not. Read More...
