Sylvia for Model Number WED9450WW1 Hi! My dryer was squealing. I had a local repairman come out to look at it. He said he lubricated something inside. The squealing stopped, but the dryer then had a knock knock noice when the drum was rotating. He said I need a new idler pulley. But after a day the knocking noise stopped, and now there’s no noise. Should we still replace the idler pulley? If so, should I order anything additional and have it replaced at the same time? Like the idler arm and/or belt? Thank you!
Answer Hello Sylvia, if the noise was from a worn idler pulley then it needs to be replaced, idler arm assembly W10837240 and the drum belt 661570V. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, May 29, 2020
