Bb for Model Number GC5SHEXNS03 Hot frame around the doors and ice maker stopped working symptoms of condenser fan gone bad. I opened the back and used box fan to cool and it worked. I replaced the condenser fan and it worked for a day then the fan stopped working and symptoms returned. Could I have gotten a bad part or is there something else I should be looking at?
Answer BB, It is possible that you receive a bad fan motor but will want to test to see if you have 120 vac to the condenser motor.
