Mark C. for Model Number MAH3000AWW My drive belt fell off the pulley drum seems to spin freely and the pulley seems to look good. I don't understand what keeps the belt on the pulley. The pulley is smooth. I took clothes out and put belt back on and ran it with no clothes and it worked. Then I put clothes back in and it popped off when it starts too agitate back and forth. Is this because the belt is stretched. Like I said the drum seems to be spining feely when belt is not attached.
Answer Hello Mark. It could be a bad belt 12001788. Try running the unit in spin cycle without clothes in it. If you hear a roaring sounds, the bearings are bad and you will need to replace the outer tub assembly 22004465. Hope this helps. Read More...
