Vincent for Model Number PTB1949GRW My refrigerator is 10 years old. It has stopped cooling. I changed it with the kit shown above. It began to cool and now it's not cooling down although it hasn't yet been 24 hrs. There does now seem to be a click-type popping sound every 10 minutes or so. Can you please help me before I set it on fire! LOL!
Answer Hello Vincent. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the compressor is bad on the unit. If you replaced the relay overload and the compressor started, and now is clicking, it is building up pressure, and can not restart. You will need to replace the compressor 12001872. Hope this helps.
