Kb for Model Number HMCF7W2

When turned on, MagicChef freezer compressor starts for a brief moment then quits followed by a click every 10-20 seconds. Removed both the start relay and overload capacitor (I'm assuming one of these is most likely the problem) but having difficulties locating replacements when referencing their part #'s. Overload Capacitor 1766AR / B94-130C / RHOS N1; Start Relay 608001 / K115 TY. Searched part #'s individually and different combinations of them together...

Nando, Sounds like you have a problem with the thermostat.Part # is WPW10424991 Continuity test will pass if your thermostat has not yet fully failed.But this is my suspicion its going out.

Dave, The part that you originally had would have a been a overload relay combo and the overload for your unit is showing as being discontinued by the manufacturer with no suitable be replacement.

Whouse, The most likely cause for the unit to cool to necessary temp then not come back on would be a faulty thermostat. The part number for the thermostat is 312180100044.
