Drew for Model Number 60854991 The compressor to my kenmore refridgerator is rumbling and making lots of noise. Obviously not worth replacing the compressor but could it be possible that the compressor relay needs to be changed? The fridge is still cooling properly but just really REALLY loud!! Thanks
Answer Hello Drew, A bad start relay would not cause the compressor to make a rumbling noise. Noise from compressor are normally associated with the internal springs either coming loose or wearing out. If compressor is rumbling you would want to replace compressor. Read More...
