Polly R. for Model Number mdb7600awb The door latch was replaced with the assembly. Upon using the dishwasher, water was pumped in and then the dishwasher just stopped; all lights were out on the door panel. We checked the breaker, thinking that was a problem; however, that wasn't an issue, so we started the washer again and water overflowed in the floor because we had double the water. The unit again stopped and did not operate. What could be the problem? A professional installed the latch assembly, is there a connection to the problem that we are having with the door handle/latch assemble? Thanks
Answer Hi Polly. The float stem in the tub is supposed to activate the float switch to start/stop the water valve. The switch is part # W10202535. The switch mount is part # 99002943.
