Randy for Model Number kudu02frss3 It seems to me that Kitchenaid has a design flaw with the strike on this dishwasher in that it is not strong enough to hold the door closed, or at least get weaker with use. Again, the new strike I got from another model was much stronger and holds the door shut, but won't "acknowledge" that the dishwasher is door is closed because it was not wide enough. Hence, the apparent need for a stronger strike for this model that will hold the door shut. Seems like a lousy design to me.
