Connie for Model Number MHW4200BW1 My washer makes a clicking sound ( about 6 times) after I shut the door and hit the start button. Then it displays an error E02 and F05. What is the problem?
Answer Connie, The F5 E2 error code is a door lock error. At the start of the cycle, the washer attempts to lock the door 6 times which is the clicking you hear. You will want to verify that the wire harness connectors are fully inserted at the door lock and and the control board. Make sure that the door can close easily and that clothes are not pushing out on the door. Make sure that the strike is good and is not misaligned. If this checks ok then access the tech sheet inside the unit and do the door lock test number 4 on page 16 of the tech sheet. Read More...
