Ed for Model Number Kitchenaid KUDS25SHAL1 Dishwasher either won't start or stops during cycle. Latch handle also seems floppy. Intermittent fault seems related to latch or switch or something with respect to the door closing. Entering the model number brings up quite a variety of handles, latches, actuators, and a switch kit making the choices confusing.
Answer Hello Ed, First check the connections in the power connection box behind the kickpanel. If a connection is loose it can cause this issue. If not, check the breaker connections and the breaker.
