Curtis for Model Number WTW7800XW2 My Model WTW7800XW2 Washer Lid is Glass with a plastic frame which is broken at the hinges. Poor design. Your site says Part No. AP4929345 is compatible with my washer lid. Is the Frame around the glass metal or plastic? One of your answers says the metal parts are covered in black enamel. A metal frame should way out perform the original plastic frame. Also can I use the original hinges and screws? Thanks.
Answer Curtis, The correct white lid for the model number you supplied is W10349235 / AP4929347. Yes you will be able to use the original screws and hinges. It's a matter of removing the two screws in the ends of the lid hinge assembly on the inside of the lid, and lifting the assembly off the hinges, reverse the procedure and you're done.
