Amanda July 14, 2020 for Model Number WTW8800YCO Our glass lid broke on our WTW8800YCO washing machine. Do they make a metal lid in black that would be compatible with this machine? Or I found part AP6020093. Would this work for my machine? I really would like to get away from glass and just go with metal. My kids climb on everything and the glass option scares me.
1 Answer Hello Amanda, unfortunately, the manufacturer only supplies the original style lid W10842924 for your model. Read More...

Curtis May 16, 2015 for Model Number WTW7800XW2 Curtis-Not a question, just help for others. I ordered the Lid for my Whirlpool Washer from App. Parts Pros, NO. Curtis May 11, 2015 for Model Number WTW7800XW2 Curtis again, your website says I can use the black frame. Is it a metal frame. You also said I couldn't use the black frame. Why, when your site says it is compatible? AP4929375 says it is compatible? Again, primary question--is it a metal frame?
1 Answer Hello Curtis! Yes, your model, WTW7800XW2, can use the black lid part number WPW10349135. The frame would be of the same material as the current white one on your model now. Unfortunately, we do not have the specs to confirm the make/material. Sorry. Read More...
Curtis May 10, 2015 for Model Number WTW7800XW2 Is the frame on the AP4929345 which is a replacement option for my washer lid metal or plastic.
Curtis May 08, 2015 for Model Number WTW7800XW2 My Model WTW7800XW2 Washer Lid is Glass with a plastic frame which is broken at the hinges. Poor design. Your site says Part No. AP4929345 is compatible with my washer lid. Is the Frame around the glass metal or plastic? One of your answers says the metal parts are covered in black enamel. A metal frame should way out perform the original plastic frame. Also can I use the original hinges and screws? Thanks.
1 Answer Curtis, The correct white lid for the model number you supplied is W10349235 / AP4929347. Yes you will be able to use the original screws and hinges. It's a matter of removing the two screws in the ends of the lid hinge assembly on the inside of the lid, and lifting the assembly off the hinges, reverse the procedure and you're done. The hinge assembly on the lid is still plastic, but there is no repair available from the manufacturer. Read More...
