Jeffrey for Model Number Kenmore 10651123211 Both the freezer and refrigerator side lights are very dim almost all the way out, but not all the way. What is the issue?
Answer Jeffrey, the top refrigerator light WPW10515058 will need to be tested for 120VAC at terminal L. If there is a full 120VAC, then the two-wire connector on the other side will need to be tested for 12-14VDC. If there is not a full 120VAC, the incoming power to the refrigerator will need to be tested for 120VAC. If there is not 12-14VDC, but there is 120VAC, then the light has failed. If there is 12-14VDC, then the lower refrigerator light WPW10515057 and the freezer light WPW10515057 will need to be tested for 12-14VDC and inspected for any failed LED bulbs. If there is a failed LED bulb, that light would need to be changed out. If there is a fluctuating DC voltage at the lower refrigerator light, the freezer light would need to be replaced. If there is not a fluctuating DC voltage, and voltage tests good, then the likely issue would be the lower refrigerator light. Read More...
