Chris

I put my clothes in my washer machine last night and came back to find the drum still loaded with water? I set the machine to spin cycle and the drum doesn't spin as fast as it usually does? It also make a louder noise than normal. I took the motor off and checked continuity on the white/black wire and the white wire and the book states it supposed to have 0 ohms (resistance) and it has .3 ohms? Since its so little resistance is that fine.. All of the other checks in resistance on all the other wires are good. Going to check the clutch to see if it's bad.

Answer

Hi Chris. If when you start a normal wash cycle and then allow the fill to run for a few seconds. Then simply un plug it. If the water continues to fill then you need to replace the water valve part # 285805. Check for restrictions in either the pump or in between the inner and outer tub. A piece of clothes can ball up in mentioned areas and slow or stop the spin. Is there a screw or large nail in the wash basket holes and scraping the outer tub ? Thank You.
