Mbassett for Model Number msd2542veb00 Drive coupler is stripped on shaft, how do you remove? Is this a replaceable part?
Answer Mbassett, The only way to remove the stripped coupler is to pull the auger housing and wedge something under the coupling and tap it so that it grabs the threading and is able to be removed. You do not necessarily have to remove the old coupling. You can put the new coupling over top of it and it will still work normally.
