Perry S for Model Number ED5GTQXKQ01 Ice auger won't run, replaced drive motor, still won't run, checked old motor out of circuit runs fine. Solenoid activated by ice panel switch works. Checked plastic pins anyway, all ok. Auger motor still wont run?
Answer Perry, You will want to test power to the dispenser motor for 120 vac when the dispenser button is pushed in. If there is no power then you will want to trace power back to the dispenser. Check the connector at the bottom of the door from blue to white while pushing the dispenser lever and see if there is 120 vac there.
