Max G for Model Number ED5PHEXRQ00 My ice dispenser will not dispense ice,it seem's like it don't have power to it. I took it out and put power to it and the motor run's, and the solenoid opens. Is there a switch behind the push handel that could be bad? How do you get the front cover off? ThanK You
Answer Hello Max. You can remove the front cover of the dispenser. It uses tabs to hold it on the refrigerator. To remove it you will need to unsnap the tabs with a butter knife or putty knife. Be careful not to break it. Once removed, you will need to test the micro switch WP2162361 and see if it is bad. Hope this helps. Read More...
