Sue for Model Number 106 Our Ice maker has stuck while filling twice, and we have woken up in the morning to find the kitchen floor covered with water and the freezer covered with ice and water. What would be causing this to happen?
Answer Hello Sue. If the icemaker is stopping in the cycle and powering the valve, you will need to replace the icemaker. If the icemaker is going through the cycle, then the valve does not stop, you will need to replace the water valve on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
