Cidnor P for Model Number Kenmore elite 665.12773K310 The dishwasher is used infrequently. It stopped draining at Christmas and overflowed. We took it out, cleaned the drain basket, checked the drain hose, and thought it worked, but the next use, a few months later, and it did it again. When you run a cycle, the initial drain cycle before it runs the wash cycle seems to start. You can hear the sound of the drain pump (I think) start, but stop after a few seconds, repeats a few time. No drainage to the sink. It seems the drain pump “tries to run” but can’t. Is it likely to be the problem or am I better off taking it apart and seeing what else may be wrong?
