Hami for Model Number KUCC151GSS1 Hi there, my trash compactor started acting up recently. In normal mode I have to hold the switch down to make it move. It goes all the way down then back up until I let go. When in full compact (locked) mode, it functions normally. I turn the nob to start and let go, and it continues down to lock. If I turn the nob again it goes all the way back up to top. However, before, while the ram was all the way down, if I flick the switch from locked to normal, this would trigger the ram to come back up, now it just stays down in the locked position unless I hold down the nob on start. I have tested the directional switch and it's working correctly. Doing the Motor Run Winding test according to the tech sheet should read 3-5 ohms, Mine is reading 1.5-1.7. Doing the Centrifugal Switch test, the sheet says it should read under 1ohm. Mine is reading 5.1.
