Tom for Model Number 665.1350593 Ram will go down and return ok but it will not compact anymore. What would cause this?
Answer Tom, if there is a full 120VAC going to the compactor, the motor W10439651 windings would need to be tested for resistance after turning the power supply off. The motor start windings can be tested at the top limit switch from the red wire to the gray wire and it should measure 10O. The run windings can be tested from the yellow wire at the top limit switch to the white wire of the unit and it should measure between 3O to 5O. Read More...
