Dennis for Model Number 665.13619101 Why does my Kenmore Trash Compactor white plastic gear keep breaking (the hole in the middle gets stripped)? It is like the motor is not reversing soon enough. Then the compactor starts banging and I have to turn it off - then back on again to raise back up. I have put 3 gears (kit 882699) in and they only last a month and then break. Is there an adjustment screw that I can release the down tension? I have triple checked the chain tension each time I have replaced it. P.s the plastic stop rams are getting jammed (squished) on the bottom too and are curling
