Mark for Model Number PYG2000AWW "I have a Maytag Performa, about 12 years old, that recently broke a drum belt. I replaced that and vacumned all the 12 years of lint. It was looking good. It ran great for several days and now won't turn on at all. All I hear is a buzzing sound when it on. I cannot move the motor pulley (that the belt went around) or the shaft running through the motor. I thought I could the other day but don't recall for sure. The air duct blades (in front of machine and motor) don't move easily either. I thought they moved easy the other day. Could something be stuck in the motor windings or does the motor need replaced? Could it be a bad thermal fuse that causing it to not turn? Thank you for your help, in advance.
Answer Hello Mark. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the motor W10410996 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, February 8, 2012
