Terry for Model Number MFW9700SQ1 I get an F06 code sometimes and at other times It looks like the drum wants to spin but seems stuck. After a few minutes it tries to spin again with the same result. I have to unplug the washer to get the door open. Should the drum turn by hand when the unit is off? It doesn't. Any ideas.
Answer Hello Terry. Yes, the drum should turn by hand. If the drum does not, you will need to check and see if the bearings W10772618 are bad, or if something is between the inner and outer tubs and is binding the inner tub assembly. Hope this helps.
