Ben for Model Number KITCHENAID KFIS9PBMS00 My refrigerator coil ices up on inside of refrigerator. Also ice in back of freezer. Do not feel airflow, but the refrigerator is cold. Freezer is cold but not freezing. I want to replace the evaporator fan motor. Where is it? Is there more than one evaporator coil? More than one evaporator fan?
Answer Ben, This unit will have an evaporator fan for the refrigerator compartment located behind the crispers and behind the wall and would be part number W10633627. The freezer will have a evaporator fan motor behind the rear wall and would be part number W11452196. For the issue of the coils freezing, you will want to check to make sure that there is not a defrost issue by testing the heater and defrost thermostat to ensure that they have continuity. If these test good for continuity then replace the main board. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, September 8, 2016
