Is this possibile? If so can I order just that part or do I have to order the whole motor? The magneto part seems fine and it seperates I just dont get how water would come out of the motor?
Answer The manufacturer prefers you replace the motor assembly. If you're extremely careful, you can order the seal and washer 8193951A and WP8531018 but you'll need to be extremely careful, if you damage the impeller, you will need to install the motor kit WPW10757217. As for the leak from the seal, it's usually due to something small with sharp edges,(glass shards) circulating past the screens and impeller and damaging the seal. You may want to play it safe, and install the motor assembly. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 31, 2012
