Chris, The diverter motor would be the most likely cause for the unit to not circulate the water if the circulation motor is running and there is no obstruction in the pump assembly.

Answer

Chris, if the dishwasher will not start up and wash, you will probably need the wash motor. Part number is W11032770, the diverter motor directs the water flow, the wash motor is what builds up pressure in the sump and causes the water pressure to spin the spray arms.
