The system makes ice, and when engaged to delivery the motor for the ice bucket turns and crushes the crap out of ice ... but the door remains closed. Your video shows an ice maker that is accessed through the front cover plate. However, my ice / water dispenser is recessed in the door and with the stainless door exterior, my assumption is that the access for the mechanism is behind this stainless cover. Any manual support for this specific model?
Answer Bob, there have been a few issues with the "stepper" motor WPW10205979 on the ice door flapper assembly. You will need to remove power to the refrigerator.
