Steve for Model Number MAH4000AWW The control baord just below the left retaining nut smoked the resistor and I traced back and found the wax motor doesn't work and is open when checked with a ohm meter. Will the wax motor cause this to happen on the board?
Answer Hello Steve. Yes, if the wax motor is bad, it will burn the R-11 resistor. You will need to replace the control board WP22002989 and the wax motor WP22002119 to repair the machine. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, June 29, 2011
