Changing my 2008 whirlpool duet from lp to ng;I removed all lp parts; installed brass ng orifice, spring part # ap3081255, then white plastic regulator # ap3081254, how far down do I screw it 3 turns ? I screwed it down snug on spring then installed cap # ap3135346 , dryer runs great BUT! sounds like jet engine ? PS I dont have meter.....
Answer Len, There are no adjustments to make, or specific turns on the cap. As long as you've installed the Nat gas valve components(orifice,cap, spring, regulator) and you have 3.5 WCI gas pressure at the gas valve, you're set and done. You'll need to adjust the fuel air mixture at the air shutter on the burner tube( usually 1/2 to 3/4 open) you should be fine.
