Replace a worn or clogged gas burner orifice with this orifice fitting assembly to restore clean, controlled flame. It meters gas to the burner for reliable ignition and accurate flame size.

  • Meters gas flow from the valve/manifold to the burner
  • Supports reliable ignition and a stable, properly sized flame
  • Common symptoms of a clogged or damaged orifice: weak or uneven flame, yellow tips, delayed ignition, or burner not lighting
  • Replace if the fitting/orifice is stripped, deformed, or otherwise damaged

  • Shut off the gas supply and disconnect power before servicing; allow the appliance to cool
  • Access the orifice per your model's service instructions; remove burner components as needed
  • Use the correct wrench; avoid cross-threading and do not overtighten

Hello Douglas, These hoods are fully adjustable. If they are set up for natural gas they will be backed off about 1 1/2 to 2 turns. To change the unit over to LP gas simply tight them down clockwise about the same number of turns as previously listed. Be sure when adjusting the 1/2 inch brass hoods, DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN as this will cause damage to the unit. You will find one hood under each surface burner and one on the oven valve directly under the bake burner.
