Douglas Y. for Model Number C31315VBV The stove has a large opening orifice for natural gas. Do I have to replace the orifice if I have propane? If so, is it difficult?
Answer Hello Douglas, These hoods are fully adjustable. If they are set up for natural gas they will be backed off about 1 1/2 to 2 turns. To change the unit over to LP gas simply tight them down clockwise about the same number of turns as previously listed. Be sure when adjusting the 1/2 inch brass hoods, DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN as this will cause damage to the unit. You will find one hood under each surface burner and one on the oven valve directly under the bake burner. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, August 17, 2015
