Donna for Model Number SF385PEWN0 igniter for bake glows but no call for gas. Low voltage maybe? Finding confusing part numbers. I have been told by Sears # WP9751123 but also found 814269 and 816624. Can't afford a new range so really would like to fix this one. Already missed Christmas baking. Lol not good!
Answer Hello Donna. Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
