Sheryl I have the Maytag Model #MGRH752BDB, When I program it to 350 degrees it never reaches that temp. It will raise very slowly from 100 to 105 then maybe 15 minutes it will reach 110=115. Then I finally turn it off. Is this the sign of the oven temp sensor. Please advise. I am doing repair myself so any information that you can give a woman would be appreciated. Thank you!!
Answer Hello Sheryl, The oven temperature sensor should read about 1100 ohms at about 70°F. There will be slight variations but this reading should be within about 10% tolerance. If this reading is way off, the sensor should be replaced. If a wire looks like it has been hot, is discolored, or the insulative material contacting it is malformed, this are an indications of a poor contact. This could also be an issue with the gas valve or the bake WP7432P136-60 or broil 74007498 ignitors. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, July 8, 2015
