Answer Hi Carolyn. Remove power to the unit. Remove back assembly. On the left there is a vertical blower wheel housing. There are 2 electrical devices connected to the housing. The thermal fuse is approximately 1/2 " wide and 1-1/4" long with 2 - blue wires attached. If This is open (Test with an ohm meter), it normally reads closed. This opens when too much exhaust heat is backed up into the dryer. Clean your entire vent system, and make sure your vent cap outside works properly or you might be replacing this again.
