Francis for Model Number KSCS25FVMS01 Fridge is connected to a GFCI circuit, and since last night, it randomly trips the GFCI when dispensing water. I checked the electrical valves (ice and water) in the back and the whole assembly is thoroughly dry. As I'm suspecting something wet somewhere that pulls the 5mA while water is dispensed, where is the switch that activates the valve, in the pad ? Behind ? How do I access it ? Thanks.
Answer Francis, While the unit should never be set up to a GFCI, it could be that the GFCI is faulty or you will want to check the harness at the bottom of the door to make sure that there are no broken wires in the harness. The pad is the actuator for the water to be dispensed. It also runs into the control board. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, September 4, 2014
