Barry November 04, 2019 Dispenser water pad has to be pushed in one exact place. Can the pads be replaced from the outside of the door. If so, how do you remove the old pads? Kit W10133606
1 Answer Barry, the pads would be replaced by removing the cover assembly from the door to be able to access the mounting tabs of the pads. For the most accurate information, the model number for the unit would need to be provided in a new inquiry. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Read More...

Maureen December 17, 2018 for Model Number KSCS25FVMS02 It looks like very similar questions have been asked and answered, but for my model and color (the pads are gray), if the water pad is getting so that it takes an intense pressure to get water dispensed, what is the part no. to order?
Scott February 06, 2018 for Model Number KSCS25FVMK01 My ice dispenser randomly dispenses ice, the dispensing motor comes on unsolicited. Once had to take face off of control panel and unplug electronic control board or the pad wiring connector to get it to stop) The pad has been difficult to push correctly for some time and lost much of its sensitivity. Could the pad just be the issue and not the dispenser control board or the electronic board? thanks
1 Answer Scott, Yes, the W10133606 / 2305306AS actuator pad(s) could be the issue(probably is, based on your post information). The part is in stock and available at this time. (actuator pads are sold as a set by the manufacturer). Thanks, Read More...

Francis August 30, 2014 for Model Number KSCS25FVMS01 Fridge is connected to a GFCI circuit, and since last night, it randomly trips the GFCI when dispensing water. I checked the electrical valves (ice and water) in the back and the whole assembly is thoroughly dry. As I'm suspecting something wet somewhere that pulls the 5mA while water is dispensed, where is the switch that activates the valve, in the pad ? Behind ? How do I access it ? Thanks.
1 Answer Francis, While the unit should never be set up to a GFCI, it could be that the GFCI is faulty or you will want to check the harness at the bottom of the door to make sure that there are no broken wires in the harness. The pad is the actuator for the water to be dispensed. It also runs into the control board. Read More...
Diy Dood June 28, 2012 for Model Number KSCS23FTSS002 How do I remove the pad from the dispenser enclosure without breaking anything, once I've removed the dispenser enclosure assembly from the freezer door? I see the three plastic prongs on the back of the pad sticking through their matching slots on the back of the dispenser enclosure, but don't know how to release them without breaking something.
1 Answer Hello DIY Dood. The pads W10133606 unsnap from the dispenser. You will need to pry the tabs to release the pads from the unit. It is common to break the tabs removing these, but is not an issue because you are replacing the pads. Read More...
