Jim for Model Number MDB6709AWW0 Similar problem as to what others have reported. Lights on one side of the control panel stopped working, now lights on both sides are out and the unit appears to be completely unresponsive, no sign of life at all. Once I open up the door after turning off the circuit breaker, I will check the door switch and thermal fuse. Then remove the ribbon cable and try the eraser cleanup trick. If that doesn't work, then the problem can be either the control board or the control panel. Is there a way to definitively rule out one of those two control pieces over the other to complete the diagnosis?
Answer Hello Jim, This will either be the ribbon cable connection, (corrupted by moisture), or the control panel W10811153 has simply failed. The issue can be in the control board, but this is much less likely. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, December 27, 2013
