Rick for Model Number MEDC300XW0 Dryer won't start. I checked dryer door switch and both thermo fuses. Now I'm at the push button start switch. Theres a 3 prong plug, a 2 blue wire (12 & 3 o'clock) and a red wire. when ohming plug do you test 2 blue wire terminals? If so, I did that and got a open, then pushed button in and got a .3 ohm reading. Thinking bad switch if testing right terminals.
Answer Hello Rick, The push-to-start switch sounds like it is testing good. It should show only the resistance of the meter leads when the button is pressed. I would check the door switch WP3406107 and the centrifugal switfch in the motor assembly 279827 if the thermal fuse WP3392519 is good. Read More...
