Gabriela for Model Number GEQ9800LW0 Hello, my dryer on button does not want to stay on. If I hold it down, the dryer starts working (tumbling and heating). I did taped it down, since I had all load to dry, and it even switched off including final sound. Does it mean I need to replace the on off switch? Thank you
Answer Gabriela, this failure can be caused by the start switch WP3398094 or the motor 279787. With a meter probe placed at the blue wire of the switch and one probe at the pink and black wire to test for 120VAC, there should be a continuous 120VAC when the switch is released.
