Jim for Model Number jlmjstine@gmail.com

I have a dish washer about a year and a half old. Model kdte104ess3. It lets water in and sets there. I press cancel and it pumps the water out. So I take the front panel off and find the two wires to the wash pump and plug them in directly to power and I hear nothing. Next I find the terminals on the board that power the wash pump, start the cycle and after about 30-45 seconds the power is produced at the board, so I am thinking the wash motor is bad. Any thoughts?

Answer

Jim, based on your post description and information, it sounds like you have a faulty WPW10605057/WPW10605057 PUMP&MOTOR. If you haven't yet done it, recheck the wires to the wash motor connector for 120 VAC to verify proper connections and power supply to the motor. Thanks,
