Pete for Model Number Mhw5100dw0 I have a Maytag Mhw5100dw0 washer. The "extra rinse" button and "control lock" button do not respond when touched on the front panel, nor do they light when touched. As result, I cannot put the unit into the extra rinse cycle. I placed the unit in self-diagnostic mode and the error codes E2 and F9 displayed. I also unplugged the unit for a time to see if the condition would clear up but this did not help. Is there an simple fix for this?
