Kevin for Model Number WFW8300SW03 Just purchased water pump wpw10730972 and replaced the original pump. The pump seems to drain just fine, and now continues to drain longer, and begins pulsing through the drain hose as the spin cycle continues and less water moving through. It did not do this prior to install, and the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. I have checked all other hoses in the drain and pump system and am unable to find anything obvious. Thanks.
Answer Hello Kevin, This sounds like normal operation since the drain pump will make a surging noise when it runs out of water to pump and it hits air pockets. If the clothes are excessively wet you should check the shocks, suspension springs, and check the unit for proper leveling. Read More...
