Charlotte G for Model Number WFW9050XW00 What causes error code F6E1? This occurred after the pump was replaced.
Answer Charlotte, Your washer has 2 controls. One is the ccu and is mounted under the top panel on the right side looking down from the front. The other is located underneath the tub in the bottom cavity on the left side if looking in from the front. The error code is from a communication error between the two controls. [They can't talk to each other] Possible causes are the wire harness between the two controls or a damaged control. Most often the damaged control turns out to be the motor control unit located underneath. We usually find a burnt spot on the plastic housing when the control is removed. We will email you the page in the tech sheet for the error code and what connectors to check. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, March 18, 2020
