Frank for Model Number mde2706ayw I have replaced drum rollers and drum glides and felt. Still makes screech when first starting and in cool down. Belt looks good, no fraying. I assume all that is left is idler pulley and drum support shafts? What would you start with? And do you sell kit with everything in it?
Answer Hello Frank, I would replace the drum rollers and the idler pulley since the life of each is comparable. This would prevent having to tear the unit down again to replace them later. The way to figure out which is giving the most trouble right now is to remove the drum and spin the wheels by hand. The failing one will oppose rotation. Read More...
