Rochelle for Model Number LSQ8000LQ1 My washer stopped in the middle of a load. It did not spin or drain. We replaced the lid switch and checked the coupler. The sound deadening ring is broken but I don't think that's the cause. I'm just not sure what else to try. Help
Answer Rochelle, you may want to check if the basket will rotate clockwise by hand to see if the basket has seized up. From there, when in a drain/spin selection, you may want to check to see if the motor is receiving 120VAC from the timer by testing the blue wire at the motor. If the motor is not receiving voltage, and the lid switch is verified good and being engaged by the lid, then you will want to replace the timer [WP3953553]. Read More...
