Don, to answer your question, yes you can test the wax motor by applying 120 volts to the wax motor if you have a test cord of some sort. Any kind of old lamp cord, or extension cord will work. If you have some alligator clips to put on the end of it that would be great. Very carefully, because this is a live check, hook the test cord to the two terminals on the wax motor. If the plunger moves then the wax motor is ok. It does move slow, so be patient. Also make sure the linkage it engages is working properly. If the wax motor does work, then you'll need to start backtracking to see if your putting out power from the board when the dispenser should be energized. Thanks.
