Mark G for Model Number MGDB400VQ0 Drum is rotating, it makes a slight metal to metal grinding noise. I believe the drum slides need to be replaced. However, I do not see this part on the schematic. Are they listed as the front or rear drum seal or by some other name? Thanks.
Answer Mark, Your dryer doesn't have drum slides, yours have front and rear drum rollers WPW10314173, they can make a light metal on metal noise when the shaft or bearing get dry. You may want to check and make sure there's not a button, zipper, etc. stuck in or between the drum seal and bulkhead that can also make a noise similar to your description. Read More...
