Steve for Model Number dwu8860aax My dishwasher is leaking. I replace the gasket but Im confused, it has a track leading from under the right side of the door around to the left. But there is no track under the left side of door. Should the seal go under both sides 1 or none? I tried it all ways. Still leaking. Which side of gasket faces out. Could the leak be coming from the soap latch? Any other sugustions? Help
Answer Steve, the gasket should be longer on the right side of the tub opening. There is a remote chance the detergent latch gasket W10131752 could be leaking, but it wouldn't be as big a leak as you indicate. You most likely have a split in the seam of the lower spray arm 6-903473 or debris in the openings, directing water to the bottom of the door and forcing it through the gap between the door and tub.
